MADRIDJOYA is the reference trade fair for the national jewellery, watchmaking and related industries sector. It’s the complete sales, marketing and promotional tool for the sector that presents the latest innovatins in design as well as classic collections

At the last event, which drew to a close on 6^th February, 145 companies and brands from Germany, Spain, France, India, Italy, Basque, Poland, Portugal and Turkey attended among others.

Some 40,800 trade visitors from 78 countries attended the three co-located events Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya. International visitor numbers increased by 10% compared with the previous year.

A successful Hosted Buyers Programme, which welcomed some 400 VIP buyers from 66 countries at the last event, contributed to the promotion, revitalisation and internationalisation of those companies who participated.

The seventh edition of the International Trade Fair for Recovery and Recycling, SRR 2020, organised by IFEMA, will take place from September 29th to October 1st in the Feria de Madrid. It is the best business tool for demonstrating the strength of the recycling and recovery industry, in the ideal space for publicising best environmental practices.

SRR is held in the context of FSMS, the Sustainable Environmental Solutions Forum, which also includes TECMA (town planning and environment), ESCLEAN (cleaning) and the Foro de las Ciudades de Madrid (Cities Forum).

A total of 584 brand exhibitors from 51 countries participated in the last exhibition, with 10010 professional visitors.

The national and international markets have their own space at TECMA. The fair is aimed at professional groups who wish to obtain a detailed view of the market in elements such as rubbish containers and urban waste. Recycling companies are also strongly represented at this fair with all developments in this field in the market, especially with regard to industrial recycling.

The last exhibition attracted 96 enterprises from 27 countries and 10,910 visitors from 51 countries.

For the first time, a highly recognized event in Spain was moved to Hispanoamerica, where attendees had the opportunity for three days to participate in more than 27 conferences with prominent speakers from Spain, Uruguay, Bolivia and Chile, on topics relevant to the cities of the world.

In Trafic, in addition, the agreement between the Government of Brazil and the Mayor of Medellin was signed for the exchange of knowledge in terms of mobility with social inclusion, which reaffirms the importance of this event for the region.

Finally, there were 2,779 visitors who were able to know a cross-cutting look at the urban world, from innovative and sustainable management. It was also the space in which all actors discussed their role in issues such as urban planning, energy, waste and recycling, transport and accessibility.

Sectors

Fresh Food Logistics Fair was created with the desire to serve the whole international industry. It is the only hyper-specialised, professional trade event in the European Union that will bring together all the stakeholders in the cold food chain under the same roof, from storage at the point of origin to logistics and transport to cold solutions for retail, last mile delivery and e-commerce.

To take advantage of international synergies and potential, the first trade fair will be held as part of Fruit Attraction, the international trade show for Fruit and Vegetable Industry. The 2020 event expects to see more than 2,000 exhibiting companies and 95,000 trade participants from 140 countries occupying the entire exhibition area surrounding the central avenue.

EXPOFRANQUICIA last edition brought together products and services from 500 brand names and closed with an influx of 15,248 visitors, 31.7% of whom attended the fair with the intention of acquiring a franchise within the year. 5.9% sought a master franchise agreement at the fair.

This was a wide-ranging event that welcomed visitors from all of Spain’s Autonomous Communities, and from 40 other countries as well

EXPOFRANQUICIA is multisectoral in nature, with more than 20 sectors exhibiting, including Food, Beauty, Health and Fitness, Decoration and Home, Fashion and Accessories, Catering and Hospitality, Specialised Services, Supermarkets, and different types of businesses focused on specialised services assistance, automotive, financial, real estate, and consulting services, amongst others.

BIT MEDIA is the great biennial event of the sector that, beyond the traditional broadcast, brings companies and professionals closer to the world of corporate television, eSports, digital signage, new distribution platforms and emerging new producers of film and advertising content.

DIGICOM is the new leading fair for the graphic industry and visual communication on the Iberian Peninsula.

The latest exhibition attracted a total of 250 corporate brands from 47 countries and 10,500 professional commercial exhibitors.

FITUR is the first appointment of the year for the world’s tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound markets in Latin America. At its 2020 staging, FITUR has surpassed it’s participation record with 11,040 companies from 165 countries and regions, 150,011 trade visitors and 111,089 visitors from the general public.

PROMOGIFT, one of the most profitable business platforms and a valuable commercial tool, where all PTO (Promotion Through the Object) agents, dealers, advertising and communication agencies, signmakers and graphic arts are can be found.

The last exhibition attracted 486 exhibitors and 6443 spectators from 34 countries.

EXPODENTAL, is the leading fair for the dental sector in Spain

31,144 exclusively professional buyers visited Expodental in 2018.

ExpoÓptica, International Show for Optics, Optometry and Audiology, is the leading trade fair of the sector in the Iberian Peninsula and a commercial meeting point for all its actors in Spain and Portugal. The fair, organised by IFEMA, presents at this edition an updated concept, in line with the new needs of the market, incorporating 14% more prestigious national and international brands, as well as novel and attractive contents, which include from the latest advances in the world of optics, optometry and audiology, to the new fashion designs of the leading participating brands.

ExpoÓptica 2018 brought together 159 direct exhibiting companies and about 170 brands, presenting their latest products and innovations, in a key professional environment to publicise their products and open new distribution channels.

GENERA 2020 closed its 23rd edition with nearly 19,000 visitors. The Fair was visited by professionals from 64 countries, increasing foreign visitors by 45%.

GENERA 2020, Energy and Environment Fair, organized by IFEMA in collaboration with IDAE, Institute for Diversification and Energy Savings (Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge) closed its 23rd edition with the assistance of 18,886 professionals from 64 countries, which represents an increase of almost 29% in participation compared to the previous edition of 2019. Visitors to the contest had the opportunity to learn about the offer of 237 companies, from 16 countries.

The international presence of visitors increased by 45%, representing 6.5% of the total visitors to the Fair. By country, Portugal topped the list, contributing 30% of foreign professional visitors, followed by Germany, with 12%, increasing its presence by 78%. Italy, for its part, accounted for around 6.3% and growth of 118%, and France recorded an increase in attendance of 6.5%, with 110% growth.
